EQUIPMENT

All players must be properly equipped to participate in our hockey program. The following equipment, which must all be CSA approved, is needed:

  • Helmet (with full face mask)
  • BNQ approved neckguard
  • Shoulder pads
  • Hockey gloves
  • Elbow pads
  • Shin guards
  • Protective cup
  • Hockey pants
  • Mouth guards

Hockey sticks are to be measured correctly for the child’s height, taped properly on the blade and a tape knob is to be put on the other end in order to prevent any injuries to the face.

The League would also ask that if you are purchasing new pants or helmet, that you consider black as the colour.

HOUSE LEAGUE PROGRAM

This year the League starts play on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Coaches will be calling their players in the last 2 weeks of September.

Do NOT email the office to ask. Team placements are NOT by friend or carpool requests. Players must have their full equipment and be ready to play during the week of October 15th.

The first couple of weeks of the season will be devoted to skills, particularly in the younger age groups.

We remind parents that a full commitment for their child(ren) to attend all practices, skills sessions and regular season and playoff games is expected by the League. Players who demonstrate a lack of commitment to the League will be asked to leave the League without any refund.
